MATLAB Stops Responding Whenever I run a script

Hello!
I recently installed MATLAB R2022A on my computer. It works perfectly while Im editing a script. However, after I run a script it stops responding. It will completely run the entire script and produce any figures that come from it, but it stops responding after the figure is produced. I have tried two completely different scripts and the same issue persists. Is this a problem anyone has happened to come across yet?

If it were a generic issue, it would have been noticed/reported immediately...I've not downloaded R2022a so no directly applicable comment, but I'd suggest attaching a sample script that causes your symptoms on the off chance someone can spot something that created a tight code infinite loop or somewhich...not likely, but "ya' never knows unless ya' tries..."
