Aerospace Blockset: 6DoF (Euler Angles) How to use with a CG not located at the origin?

5 次查看(过去 30 天)
In the documentation for the 6DoF (Euler Angles) block, it says that the center of gravity (CG) is located at the origin of the body-fixed coordinate frame. In other words, CG = [0;0;0]. Is it posible to use a CG that is not located at the origin of the body frame? We are simulating a vehicle where the CG = [0; 0; Zcg]. How may we use this Simulink block for the case where the CG of the vehicle is not located at the origin of the body reference frame?

Hi @James,
Yes as you have mentioned above, in the documentation for 6DOF (Euler Angles) block it is mentioned that the origin of the body-fixed coordinate frame is the center of gravity of the body. I looked at the parameters of this block in Simulink. Unfortunately, there is no option to change the origin of the body-fixed coordinate frame in the 6DOF (Euler Angles) block.
