resolve underspecified signal dimensions

When I carry out the simulink, the MATLAB find an error which is as folllows:
Compilation of model 'abc' failed while trying to resolve underspecified signal dimensions.
Caused by:
Error in default port dimensions function of S-function 'abc/def/ghi/jkl'. This function does not fully set the dimensions of output port 2 .
How to solve this problem please? Thank you.
