Using mscohere() on two Signals with different sampling frequencies each

Hello Again Mathworks Community!
I'm having trouble using mscohere in my Code.
I want to calculate the magnitude squared coherence of two arrays of size (1,:). Thing is: The sampling rates differ. The first array was recorded with a sampling frequency of 6250Hz, the second one with 8533.333 Hz.
Is there a "clean" way to force the two sampling rates together without losing information? Or is there a way to let matlab know the sampling rates at all times?

resample might be useful to bring the sampling rates together. Lots of options involved, so probably want to experiment to make sure the resampled signal(s) are sensible for the application at hand.
