I would have a word with your supervisor.
If you should use MATLAB (which is certainly a great thing ;-) ), but have no MATLAB skills yet, you probably need a training. Multiple resources are discussed in this forum. Different step may needed if you have or have not other programming experience.

this code work and I think good. It depends on your work.
