Rayleigh fading showing better accuracy than AWGN channel

In the plots obtained during simulation, I found that performance of model in two tap Rayleigh flat fading channel was better than AWGN channel. What might be the reason? In order to cross check the code, in the two taps for Rayleigh flat fading coefficients, I gave the coefficients as one and zero inorder to check whether AWGN channel result is obtained. I got the exact AWGN channel result.
