Why is the progress bar stuck at 83% when I install matlab? There are no buttons on it. What should I do next

I understand that your product installer is stuck at 83%.
You can try performing a clean boot in your system. Please refer to the below mentioned link for the same:

Moreover, you may want to consider attempting the installation using an Ethernet connection and temporarily disabling your system's antivirus software throughout the installation procedure as well.
