Currently I have the following:

>> get(gca,'fontname')
ans =
    'Helvetica'

Hi!

Use set:

get(gca,'fontname') ;

set(gca, 'FontName', "Neue Helvetica") ;

get(gca, 'FontName')

ans = 'Neue Helvetica'
