Hi,

I am new to mechanical circuit design and have created a simple circuit as attached. I was expecting to get some velocity measurement but it shows zero value. Could anyone help me with making the right connection for the Translational Motion Sensor? Thanks.

Hello Sudeep,

it looks like there is a "short circuit" between your force source in and out ports. The 2 port mass block makes it hard to see this, so I have converted them to 1 port mass blocks to show you what is happening under the hood. (the 2 port mass block connects both ports under the hood, so this is the same as what you have modelled) You probably need to delete the line that I highlighted in red. I'm not sure what you are trying to model so I'm not sure this is the correct modification to get the model working.
