how to build a self-defined block in Simulink?

3 次查看(过去 30 天)
I am new to Simulink and i wanna build a self-defined block that is not contained in Simulink. Actually, i try to combine a brand-new battery model with electrical circuit, but Simulink don't contain such battery model. Should i write a .m file to build such new battery model or build it by some exist blocks in Simulink?

Hello,
Simulink does allow users to create their own blocks. These blocks can be built using existing Simulink blocks, as well as by integrating MATLAB or C/C++ code.
The documentation linked below explains the different types of custom blocks in Simulink and might help decide which custom block suits your needs. Please have a look.
