Visualize higher order finite element solution

Hello,

I employ a finite element code that works with a trial space of piecewise polynomials of high order (i.e. not lowest order. e.g. quadratic polynomials).

While visualization is straight-forward for piecewise constant or nodal basis functions, I don't know whether Matlab has a decent routine to visualize solutions with higher order methods.

Is anybody aware of such a routine, or a package for this?

I don't see where Matlab would have any trouble visualizing the results from p-code FEM vs h-code FEM. Perhaps you can add more detail to your question and point out where you are stuck with some sample code?
