Automatic switch by using relay for PV array

I want to desgin ASB(Automatic switch block ) to make switching between two pv array Panal to change them connection from parallel to series or from series to parallel depending on maximum power
my question is why I cant connect relay with pannel directly ?
how I can Implement my project
please any one can help

You are traying to connect a physical block to a pure Simulink switch. Physical systems are not working in this way. You need to design a properly electrical system or us pure Simulink blocks for your project. You can use a circuit Breaker if you want to switch on or off parts of the system. I hope this helps
