Dear all,
I am experiening the Data Cleaner app of Matlab and really like it. Data Cleaning - MATLAB & Simulink (mathworks.com)
May I have 2 questions:
  1. Are there good resources to learn more about theory behind those cleaning techniques?
  2. I wonder whether there is equivalent tool in Python?

You can refer to this documentation for details about each method avaible in the data cleaner app: Preprocess and organize column-oriented data - MATLAB - MathWorks India. Depending on your application, Pandas and SciPy are good alternatives in Python.
