UIAxes error while creating controlchart

Hello
I am currently creating an app for basic SPC. When I run the code with
,
a popup window shows up with the chart.
Changing the line to this
shows an error i.e 'X must be a vector or matrix'.
Is there a way of plotting this control chart on the UI axes? Note that the data being read is from an excel sheet.
Your help will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

use the 'parent' option to pass in the axes

Thank you for your response. I am abit rusty in the app designer. Could you please expound on this point? I have read the documentation here but I still do not understand how to solve the problem.
