Basic Fitting Window not responding

I have a plot for which I want to do exponential fitting. After plotting when I am trying to open the Basic Fitting window from the menu of figure window, the Basic Fitting window is not responding. It opens but remain minimized and is not coming in front. I tried to clear the cache using the command given in the link but no result. Is there any other way or I need to reinstall the whole MATLAB. I am using version 2021b. Kindly help.

Yes, I did. Still same thing. I can use Curve Fitting App though. But if I want to use Basic Fitting Window Tab from Figure Window-->Tools--> Basic Fitting, then no response.

Sorry to hear that... In that case, its a matter for the Mathworks support... You may of course try to reinstall / update MATLAB, if you have a reason to believe it is corrupted.

If the basic fit tool is not opening from the plot window, you may need to regenerate your preferences. You can find another MATLAB Answers post on how to do so here:

If this doesn't work, then it may be because of a corrupt install, which would require a new clean installation. You can find instructions on performing a clean install here if you need:
