Hi - I have already used and run motors using INASTA FOC and SPIN labs using Code Composer directly. Can I use Simulink with a USB interface simply to provide reference inputs and read data? I dont want to design a controller using the c2000 embedded blocks - just to send and read data. Could you advise please how to get this done?

Hi Vijay Chandiramani,
As per my understanding, you would like to know how to use Simulink TI C2000 Embedded Coder to send and read data.
You can achieve this using serial communication using “SCI” blocks. Please refer to Serial Communication Using SCI Blocks example.
