Im trying to add ports to blocks in simulink, the documentation says to just click and drag the border but that doesn't work, the plus doesn't even show up, any solutions?

Drag and drop a default Simulink SubSystem block, hover the cursor over the right border line, wait till the plus sign shows up. I tried. It worked in Ver 9.9 (R2020b) already.
