The error message encountered suggests that MATLAB is having trouble accessing removable drives on MacBook Pro with an M2 processor.

Ensure that MATLAB has the necessary permissions to access removable drives. You can do this by going to:

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.

Check if MATLAB is listed under Files and Folder or Full Disk Access and ensure it has the required permissions.
