Hello everyone, please help me, I am using the rod2angle function on my computer and the following error appears. I have matlab 2023a. The function works well in matlab online but does not work on the personal computer.

my Computer is:

matlab 2023a

ubuntu 18

intel i7 8th gen

Ram 20 Gb

Any ideas to solve this problem? thank you so much.

Error using rod2angle

Function argument definition error in rod2angle. Class 'Aero.internal.datatype.Rotation' is

undefined or does not support function validation. Classes that do not support function

validation include Java, COM classes, and MATLAB classes that do not use the classdef

keyword.

Hi Hermes,

The example stated in the rod2angle documentation works fine for me both in MATLAB online as well as MATLAB R2023a desktop. I would suggest reinstalling the Aerospace Toolbox and checking for any missing dependencies. If the issue persists, you should raise a help ticket for the same.
