Can I use matlab callback function in c++ engine API?

For example I make a c++ application using c++ engine API to draw some figures.
I need to get the mouse position [ x y ] in my c++ application when the user clicks on the figure, or implement some graph interaction by callback function. Can I do these job with c++ engine API?
