Matlab functions in standalone application

I'm using Matlab to develop a standalone GUI application, and I do not have access to www.mathworks.com/help/compiler/unsupported-functions.html
Can someone confirm that 'Publish' and 'Delete' function does not work after the program is packaged to .exe application? If so, is there any alternative?
