When the computer opens matlab, an error pops up suddenly——fatal setup error ........Dynamic link library (DLL) initialization failed unknowned .
I don't know how to solve it, after the following error, I can't uninstall matlab, no matter how to uninstall it, I can't uninstall it, reinstall it can't work, the installer setup .exe running without results, only reinstalling the operating system solved, but after a morning matlab had this same error, a file with a .dll suffix error.

我也有同样的问题，和你一样我也重装系统了，但然后过了一会儿又弹出这个窗口，点击matlab卸载程序也卸载不了

你可以在重装win10系统和matlab后，设置一个还原点，如果matlab出问题，可以直接还原系统到还原点位置，避免重装很多软件

Hi Jing,
This error is mostly caused by the MATLAB preferences folder becoming corrupt. To resolve, try clearing your MATLAB preferences with the below instructions:
  • Use the shortcut %AppData% from Windows Search to jump right to the current user's hidden AppData folder.
  • Browse to the following folder: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB
  • Delete or rename the folder for your release of MATLAB, e.g R2020b. Do not remove any folder that ends with "_licenses".
  • Restart MATLAB.
This error can also occur when MATLAB gets corrupted during the installation process. To resolve this issue, disable any security software or allow exceptions for the MATLAB application and then perform a clean installation of MATLAB.
