Simpy equivalent commands in Matlab

Hi! I desire to convert a Simpy code into Matlab that performs a Discrete Event Simulation. Would appreciate guidance regarding equivalent commands in Matlab. For example, how one could define Environment, timeouts, processes or events in Matlab? A possibility could be using SimEvents. However, syntax of Simpy and SimEvents are seemingly quite different.

Is there any specific reason of convering SimPy command into MATLAB as you can diretly call Python from MATLAB. You may have a look here:
