Hi all, can anyone please give me an idea on how can I plot this type of figure? The colorbar is tagged with the number of intensity. Any sample example code will help me to understand it better. Thank you!!

Maybe it is a histogram2 plot with 'DisplayStyle' 'tile'.
histogram2(randn(1e6,1),randn(1e6,1),'DisplayStyle','tile')
