sir im kindly requesting you to post edge association function.The program is not working.it show the undefined function in edge association function.

Which MATLAB version are you using?
Could you post a reference to the "edge association function" ? I do not seem to find that in MATLAB documentation, at least not under that name.

The only place that I have located is http://en.pudn.com/downloads234/sourcecode/graph/texture_mapping/detail1100754_en.html but it is not clear that the file edge_association.m there has anything to do with the question you reference.
edge_association is not part of any MATLAB product.

That code is barely commented, and these days I do not have time to download a theoretical paper, research the theory, and work out how some code implements it.
You can _try_ using the edge_association function from the pudn link I cited.

The paper makes no reference to edge association at all, or anything close to it.
The only references I find to edge association functions in papers, are in reference to texture detection -- which fits in with the fact that the only edge_association.m function I could find was in an texture mapping program.
There are several potential conclusions available that we do not have sufficient information to decide amongst:
1) The posted multicontourlet code may be wrong, making reference to irrelevant functions
2) the posted code may be written using function names that have no relationship to what they are supposed to do
3) the author of that code must be asked for their edge_association function as it is unpublished
4) the author of that code may have (for whatever reason) called upon the edge_association function that is in the pudn texture mapping toolkit, but Rajesh was not able to figure out how to make the two work together
It would appear to me that the most production avenue from here would be for Rajesh to ask the code author about the missing function. If it isn't the function in the pudn toolbox then we are not going to be able to find it without the help of the author of that code.
pudn requires that one create an account in order to download code; I have enough computer accounts and receive enough spam as it is, so I do not choose to create a pudn account.
