Hello
I am a first year Tallinn University of Technology - Mechatronics Master's student and for one of our courses we do the MathWorks Academia courses. I have noticed that there are some problems using Firefox:
We have integration with Moodle and when trying to log in in the Moodle environment there is just a sign-in loop. Tried clearing cache, cookies etc, still looping. There is a popup window after clearing that asks permission to use information and log into the university account but the next times it just loops the MW login page.
I am doing the App Building Onramp and in "Design an App" task the opened window closes after pressing "Submit" so the task fails.
Both of these things work as intended when using Google Chrome.
Thanks in advance

Hi Henri,
In my understanding there are two issues you are referring to. Firstly, you are experiencing a sign-in loop when attempting to log in to the Moodle environment. Despite attempting to clear caches and cookies, the issue persists. Secondly, you are unable to successfully submit an assignment for the "App Building Onramp" course, as the window closes after clicking the "Submit" button, resulting in a submission failure.
Before proceeding with any troubleshooting steps, it is advisable to ensure that your operating system and browser are up to date. There can be multiple factors contributing to these errors. Here are some potential workarounds to consider:
  1. Browser Compatibility: Different browsers have varying levels of support for web standards and technologies. If a website or application relies on specific features or APIs that are not fully supported in a particular browser, it may result in issues or unexpected behavior.
  2. Browser is blocked or running behind the firewall: Try disabling the firewall or check for any restrictions imposed on the browser.
  3. Browser extension or plugins: Browser extensions or plugins can modify the behavior of websites and applications. In some cases, an extension or plugin installed in one browser may interfere with the functionality of a website or application, while it may not be present or active in another browser.
  4. Ask the course administrator: The course administrator may restrict the usage of certain browsers or operating systems, confirm with the course provider if Firefox is compatible with this course.

Hope this helps.
