Licence manager changes / Activate and manage devices

4 次查看(过去 30 天)
Recently i bought a new pc and i need to install matlab on this new one and deactivate my old device, because i cannot access it anymore. I have an academic account.
I the past years or past versions on matlab, i managed the devices with my mathworks account really ease. But i noticed that the licence manager appearance/options change. It doesn't show the old table with the current devices installed and options to desactivate it.
(I had understood that you only can install matlab in two computers with an accademic account) Note: that i have installed matlab on my new machine throuht the blue down arrow, show in the images above.
I post this imganes with the current appearance. I hope this post don't bother or break the guidelines.
Thanks for your time.

Notice that the "Option" field is "Total HeadCount". The implication is that the license is not an individual license -- the "Matlab individual" is the name that you gave to the installation, rather than being assigned by Mathworks. The license is instead what is currently called a Campus-Wide license, previously known as a Total Academic Headcount license. And that being the case, I suspect that you do not need to deactivate it. Your system is probably talking to a campus license server to authenticate your license, rather than it being a Named User license or Designated Host license.
