I cannot generate PLC code on subsystems with enable port

The simulink enable block list PLC coder under extended capabilities. However, when I open models which i had previosuly generated code from, that have been converted to enabled subsystems, the PLC code sub menu is grayed out and cannot be accessed.
Is the help documentation correct in stating that the enabled subsystsm is comatible with PLC coder?

Hi Zachary,
I understand that you are facing an issue in accessing PLC Code submenu in an enabled subsystem. The PLC code submenu is greyed out in the enabled subsystems.
Enabled Subsystem is supported for PLC code generation but not as top-level subsystem. You can alternatively put the Enabled Subsystem inside a top-level Atomic Subsystem for PLC code generation.
