I am using dicomwrite command to write the manipulated CT images on a file outside matlab. I was successful in running the code. But when I tried to open up the image using other software (ImageJ), it does not match with the original image as opened in matlab. Is any mismatch (metadata) could occur during dicomwrite. How the dicomwrite command could be modified to get rid of the problem? Please help me.

Can you describe a little more about the problem:
How are you manipulating the image? Just the image data or the header too? What do you mean by "mismatch"? Is the image different to what you expect, or just the metadata? What fields of metadata are different to what you expect, and how?
