How can I active "Perform channel analysis" option in Paralle link designer simulation?

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
I am using the signal integrity toolbox in MATLAB and would like to do channel analysis in the parallel link designer app. But, the "perform channel analysis" option is inactive in the Prelayout Simulation window. Anyone has any idea how I can active that?

Hi @Zahra ,
I understand that "Perform channel analysis" option is inactive in the prelayout simulation window,
It is possible that the "perform channel analysis" option is inactive because the necessary parameters have not been set. Please ensure that you have set the necessary parameters such as the channel length, attenuation, and crosstalk coefficients. Additionally, make sure that you have selected the appropriate analysis type. If the issue persists, try restarting the app or reinstalling the toolbox.
To set the necessary parameters for channel analysis in the parallel link designer app, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Prelayout Simulation window in the parallel link designer app.
  2. Under the "Channel" tab, select "Channel Parameters".
  3. Set the channel length, attenuation, and crosstalk coefficients as required.
  4. Under the "Analysis" tab, select the appropriate analysis type.
To reinstall the Signal Integrity Toolbox in MATLAB, follow these steps:
  1. Open MATLAB and go to the "Home" tab.
  2. Click on "Add-Ons" and select "Get Add-Ons".
  3. In the "Add-On Explorer" window, search for "Signal Integrity Toolbox".
  4. Click on the "Signal Integrity Toolbox" and select "Install".
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
Reinstalling the Signal Integrity Toolbox in MATLAB should not affect any of your existing MATLAB code or projects. However, it is always recommended to back up your code and projects before making any changes to your MATLAB installation.
Hope this Helps!
Thanks.
