How can I stop App Designer UITable from displaying all numbers as complex?

2 次查看(过去 30 天)
I've made a UITable to display some values I've calculated. It was working perfectly right up until I added a column with some complex numbers on them, now, every column is displaying the values as complex numbers, even if their imaginary part is zero. Is there a way to stop this?

Only if you convert all of the entries to string or characters
Formatting on a uitable is strange. For example if you have format short in effect then a window-full of entries will all be formatted the same way, and if you scroll then the format might change, including for some of the same entries. The format of entries depends on the other values that are in view.

Huh, that's a bit weird, but I guess I can work with it. I ended up defining the column format for the first few as numeric and the last one as char (learned that thanks to this thread), then inputted every value separately, as opposed to in one single command as I was doing. Thanks for the help!
