making a simulink model ?

Hello
I want to make a model with a varible "D". The value of this variable can be manually changed and it has a range form 0 to 100.
The problem is that if i change this variable from the current value to another one taht is bigger than (D+-10) something bad happens.
Meaning if my value right now is 50 and i change it to 61 or 39 its going to be bad.
So what i wanted to do is if the value of my variable "D" is 50 and i change it to 77 it doesnt get changed instantly to 77 but will be changed in 3 time instances to 60 then to 70 then to 77.
i dont really now how to make this simulink model can someone help ?

While the answer below concerning the rate limiter block is good, I like to point out, that the wording you chose suggests you are likely a beginner with Simulink and would benefit from a learning course. Your university has given you access to a lot of free trainings, try the "Onramp".
BTW, what I mean with the wording is e.g. "a variable" and it is not clear if it is a Simulink signal, a parameter in a Simulink block, or one of those that is even accessing the MATLAB workspace. I believe the answer below made te right guess.
