Support for Ignition Gazebo (Fortress)

I know that Matlab currently supports only ROS1 gazebo versions from 9 to 11.
But It has been a while since Ignition Gazebo (Fortress) was released and the community already asked for this a year ago.
In the near time, will there be any update for ROS2 gazebo?
