I want to use the diagnostics function https://uk.mathworks.com/help/stats/hamiltoniansampler.diagnostics.html but I get the error

"Unrecognized function or variable 'diagnostics'."

Does anyone know what's the reason and/or what needs to be done to fix this?

Hi,

Could you try executing 'which diagnostics' on command terminal? Also, you can refer to this answer: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/96005-why-do-i-get-the-error-unrecognized-function-or-variable

You can make sure that all the required toolboxes are installed correctely by running this command in your MATLAB command window:

>> ver
