What is the best way to clean and analyze ECG files from Brain Vision that I have imported using EEG Lab in Matlab?

I imported ECG files from Brain Vision using an EEG Lab plug in for Matlab and now I am not sure how to clean and analyze them in Matlab. I have tried several different things and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
