Adding markers/highlight to graph

hi all,
well i have three different scatter plots in same window now i want to take values input from user and highlight those values in these plots .. but not sure how to do this..!!
please help..!!

If the values input from the user are actual data points in the scatter plot, can't you just scatter plot those values again and use a different color?
