Hello, im trying to write text to some files in array.

Please generate a document with your input file. Read it into a cell or string array, and edit the array and generate an input file with edited array.

Add ‘VariantFy’ as an argument to the function as ‘L28’ (or whatever you choose to call it):
function writefile(C,L28)
and change ‘Line28’ to:

and it works!
Als, put semicolons (;) at the ends of the lines in the function to keep them from printing out to the Command Window every time you clal the function.

combine = append(line1,spacing,line2,spacing,line3,spacing,line4...) %and continue until last line
1. The format specifiers are for different classes of variables. The %c defines a single character, and %6d defines a 6-digit integer. See the documentation osection on formatSpec for details.
2. There is no easy way to create your files. The approach using append is probably as good as any that I could come up with. You could possibly use square brackets [] instead of the append funciton, however the result would be the same. (I outlined my approach earlier, when I answered your original question, if I remember correctly.)
The one change I would make (unless you have already done it) is to put a semicolon (;) at the end of each line in your function so that it does not print out everything each time you call it.
