The MathWorks Service Host is an essential part of MATLAB as of R2024a. The process is scheduled to start when the computer starts. It is installed in a user-specific directory and runs under said user.
The process is essential for MATLAB licensing and MATLAB startup. Currently, the MathWorks Service Host and Health Monitor cannot be disabled.
