What is the cut-off frequency when using wavelet transform?

3 次查看(过去 30 天)
I use the following command:
[A,D] = wavedec(signal,1,wname);
to do a 1-level wavelet transform for my signal. I know this gives me approximation and detailed coefficients, A & D, respectively. According to Matlab documentation, the algorithm simply low pass and high pass filter the signal, then downsample.
Q1) What are the cut off frequencies used?
Q2) How is the specified wavelet used? I don't see it anywhere!
