directory does not update

When I choose a new program to run the directory does not update, so I have to manually go to "browse for folder" and find where this program is located manually. is there a solution to this or is it a bug?

Try to right click on the mat file you chose to run and change current folder and see if that helps.

Try to right click on the mat file you chose to run and change current folder this should resolve the issue.
