For MATLAB Desktop, FreeBSD is not a supported platform. The supported platforms listed on our system requirements page are Windows, macOS, and Linux.

It is possible to install a web browser in FreeBSD that is listed as compatible with MATLAB Online. However, FreeBSD would be considered an unqualified platform since it is not listed as a supported platform for MATLAB Online.
