How do I create tabs for codes already generated using GUIDE?

I've used Matlab GUIDE to construct a GUI and its automated callback functions.
I would like to separate them into tabs, how do I do this?

As far as I am aware it isn't possible. I have just started using tabs, but I created the GUI programmatically in order to use them.
It is possible that someone has a program that can in some way convert a GUIDE GUI to a programmatic one which you could then edit, but tabs are not supported by guide and it isn't obvious how you would insert them.
