Restore camera to initial settings

Hello,
I am a student of the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and I am developing an image recognition system for robotic fish. The code itself for image recognition is going pretty well since MATLAb has a good documentation of their toolboxes. The only thing I am having trouble with is the camera. The camera was installed thursday April 30th and I was playing around with the settings. The first pictures that came out were excellent, all true colors of the objects. Now, I have been playing with the different color settings and now I can't find a way to go back to the normal settings. The image I'm getting now is pretty dark, I can illuminate it by changing the white balance but that's not what I need. I need to go back to the camera settings when the camera was first installed.
Can anyone help me?

Hello!
I hope you have successfully completed your studies at the university despite your problem with the camera :)
I had the same problem with the logitech c270 webcam. I solved it by installing "Logitech Webcam Software". There is a button in the program settings that allows you to return the default settings. Perhaps there is a similar solution for cameras from other manufacturers.
