I am trying to install local documentation in MATLAB by clicking "Install Documentation" in MATLAB Preferences, but I am consistently getting a "Something Unexpected Occurred" error.

This is a known issue with MATLAB R2024b and R2024a when attempting to install documentation while Parallel Computing Toolbox is installed. This is planned to be addressed in a future update. As a workaround you can install the documentation using an offline installation.
Please note that the offline installation of our documentation is a large file because it installs our complete offline documentation. If you have hard drive space concerns we recommend uninstalling the Parallel Computing Toolbox, install the documentation via MATLAB preferences, and then reinstall Parallel Computing Toolbox. Please follow the instructions in the link below to uninstall toolboxes.
