It sounds like you want a way to determine if your learners have completed a self-paced online course from MathWorks. I can think of a few ways.
  1. Since the purpose for taking the course is to gain skills in MATLAB, you could have them complete an exercise that requires application of what they learned. If you want to grade this automatically, you could look into using MATLAB Grader. If you are new to MATLAB Grader, consider going through Enseñanza con MATLAB (capitulo 6)
  2. Have your leaners share their course progess with you. See this page: Monitor Learner Progress
  3. If your institution has a Campus Wide License, it is possible to integrate a course into your LMS using LTI 1.3. That way, progress is automatically logged to the gradebook. For more details, please contact your account representative or contact Support.
