"undefined function or variable" errors when using "readgeotable" and "georasterinfo"

I am attempting to dig into the Mapping Toolbox a bit to do some line of sight and viewshed analysis. I have verified that the Mapping Toolbox is indeed installed on my machine, yet whenever I attempt to follow any of the online examples I get "undefined function or variable" errors when using "readgeotable" and "georasterinfo" and other basic mapping commands. Any suggestions?

readgeotable() did not exist in R2019a; it was introduced in R2021a.
