Synchronous Machine pu Fundamental field winding bases

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hi, everyone,
I have a question regarding the SPS block "Synchronous Machine pu fundamental". I opened the block (configured in continuous) to visualize the equations and write the model of the equations in per unit system and I found a gain called SM.N that multiplies the field voltage (Vfd).
Could you help me to understand the addition of this gain and could you share resources to understand the per-unit system that it is using.
I add a screenschot.
Thank you

You can refer to the documentation for the "Synchronous Machine pu Fundamental," which mentions that the "Vf" input is normalized with respect to the nominal field voltage so that a 1 pu input produces a 1 pu stator voltage at no load. This is why there is a "Gain Block." Here is the link to the documentation:
Additionally, for more information on the "pu units system", refer to the following link:
Hope this helps!
