Can't seem to get both motion/speed sensor and torque sensor to read at the same time.

Hello,
I am trying to sense both the torque and the speed of a DC motor at the same time, but I can only get one sensor or the other to give a non-zero output.
The motor does have an an inertia as one of the motor parameters. I can get each sensor to read individually, but not together/same time.

I tried a simple model on my end. You'll get reading from both if you add an inertia or damper to the R port of the motor. Otherwise the torque is showing zero, while the angular velocity has some reading.
Also, you can used the PS-Simulink convert to give you angular velocity reading in rpm, so you won't need the gain block in Simulink.
