Processing Time for Simulink Model Search

When performing a model search in Simulink (Ctrl+F), it takes a considerable amount of time to complete (sometimes over an hour). Does anyone know the cause of this? By the way, if I perform another search on a model that has already been searched, the process completes quickly. I am using MATLAB version 2016b

Hi,
I understand that performing a model search in Simulink is taking a considerable amount of time. This may happen because of a large model size.
As an alternative, you can use the `find_system` function to perform the search operation.
