- Right-click on an empty area of the Simulink canvas (not on a block) and select Print...
- In the print dialog, check “Print using tiled pages.”
- Increase the scaling factor — a higher value will shrink the content and fit more of the model onto each tile, reducing the total number of pages.
- Set the page orientation to Landscape to use more horizontal space efficiently.
I need to print a Simulink file that is large. I need to print to a PDF file.

I need to print a large simulink simulation file. I need to produce interlocking tiles if possible. Is there any way that I can control the size of the tiles? I'm getting a 206+ page document at present.

Hi @DJ V, it is possible to print a large Simulink model as interlocking tiles, but direct control over tile size is limited in MATLAB R2024a.
To reduce the number of pages from something like 206 and manage the tiling:
The model’s on-screen layout also affects tiling, so zooming out, collapsing subsystems, or reducing white space can help reduce the number of tiles generated.
At this time, there isn’t a built-in option to manually set specific tile dimensions, but adjusting the scaling factor and layout usually gives reasonable control.
